These days, it can seem like it’s okay to go with the flow and not be accountable for your actions. And this goes for more than just bad decisions. What happens when we don’t make time for the important things? What happens when we don’t speak up for what’s right? How can men stand to be real when they don’t understand what it means to be truly accountable? This is just the beginning of that line of questioning.
When we don’t take the initiative, when we don’t exercise our responsibilities, we not only fail as men but also cause harm to other people and damage the world around us. It isn’t just about us. Men have a lot of influence, for good or bad. If we don’t take responsibility for our choices, we are giving the other people in our lives and our communities a bad example.
When a man takes on the duty to be responsible and accountable for his actions, it elevates him and everyone around him. It shows strength, determination, and self-control. This is a man with a vision for the world that he wants to live in, and he’s not afraid to take action.
If you want to be a real man, you’ve got to take responsibility for your actions. You can’t let the world around you define who you are. Take ownership of your choices. Take the initiative. You’ve got to be responsible and accountable for everything you do. This way, you can be the strong, godly man you are meant to be.
